The Unicode folks can’t be swayed by petitions, media blitzes, social media uproars, bribes or spells from an Etsy witch. Too bad. Regardless, please spread the word and get on the email list. This is a moment for dessert lovers, bakers and regional development orgs to celebrate the gob -- and maybe whip up some attention, sales and tourism in the process.
